Ron Davis, President, graduated in 1969 from the University of Missouri with a BS in Chemistry. While pursuing his doctorate in pharmacology at the University of Florida, he was drafted into the Army and served three years in the intelligence branch. In 1974, he returned to MU to complete his Masters, this time pursuing a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and completed his studies in 1976.
In 1978, after graduate school, and while working in the computer industry, Ron started Digital Simplistics to help pharmacies computerize prescription records and become more profitable and efficient. He founded the company on the principles of treating the customer fairly and providing the best possible service and support.
Today, he remains active in his company and in the industry. He is a member of the American Society for Automation on Pharmacy (ASAP), National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP), National Community Pharmacy Association (NCPA), National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), and a member of the American Pharmacy Alliance (APA).
Chuck Welch, Executive Vice President - Chief Technology Officer, is dedicated to maintaining and developing the most innovative pharmacy software available today. He brings a wide range of skills to his role at Speed Script, including an extensive background in software development, web design and customer support experience. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Missouri Western State College and has spent over twenty years designing, developing and maintaining customer relationship management systems, sales order entry systems, and data warehouse solutions. He has managed customer support services for such diverse businesses as Data Systems International, Weyforth-Haas Marketing, Caterpillar, Inc., and Universal Underwriters' Group.
Welch was elected by his peers to serve on the American Society for Automation on Pharmacy (ASAP) Board of Directors in January of 2011 and holds a position on the National Community Pharmacy Association (NCPA) Technology Advisory Council. Welch is also the Technical Chairman for the American Pharmacy Alliance (APA).

Sally DeWeese, Senior Vice President of Operations, manages the day-to-day operations at Speed Script. One of our most versatile officers, she brings an extensive background and a wide range of skills to her job. Sally oversees software and hardware customer support and coordinates new customer installations and hardware upgrades. She also handles the entire array of our financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and administrates our Human Resources Department.
After fourteen years in college administration, Sally moved on to a career in the pharmacy industry, starting as a provider service representative with Argus Health systems in Kansas City, Missouri. As part of that job, she assisted pharmacists with claims. Later, she became a pharmacy tech at Western Missouri Correctional Center where she was responsible for ordering and distributing all inmate medications. In 1996, she joined Speed Script team, and in 2005 rose to her present position.
Heath Reynolds, Director of Business Development, began his career with Speed Script as a hardware technician shortly after graduating from DeVry University in 2002. As a technician, he traveled to many Speed Script customer pharmacies, discovering a true passion for finding technical solutions to help pharmacy professionals. Today, Heath focuses on marketing and business development opportunities that make Speed Script a major player in the national pharmacy technology market.
